From 495, take Exit 25, College Park/Univ. of Md/Baltimore Ave/US-1, and head south. Stay on US-1 for 2.4 miles (past Greenbelt Rd. and Paint Branch Parkway). Get in the left lane and watch for College Avenue. (Right after passing Fraternity Row on the left side of the street, University of Maryland’s Memorial Chapel and its fields on the right). Turn left at the College Avenue light. We are one block down, located at the corner of College and Yale. For visitor parking, you can either turn left onto Yale at the first stop sign, or left onto Princeton at the second stop sign.
St. Andrew's is just across the street from the University of Maryland campus, easily accessible from the Washington Beltway. Parking is available on church lots accessible from Yale Ave and Princeton Ave. Overflow parking is available at the garage at the corner of Yale Ave and Knox Ave, two blocks from the church. Garage parking is free on Sundays.
St. Andrew's is a short (8-10 minute) walk from the College Park Metro station. Take exit onto Calverton Street. Turn right on Rhode Island Ave, walk two blocks, then turn left on College Avenue. St. Andrew's is 3 blocks ahead, on your right. Buses C-8, 86 and 83 also stop a short distance from St. Andrew's.
A Handicap Ramp is available into the sanctuary from the Yale Avenue parking lot. Handicapped parking spaces are identified and are adjacent to the ramp.
A Handicap Lift is available for the short rise into the Parish Hall.
Adjoining the Parish Hall we have a Handicap-accessible Restroom , which also contains aChanging Table for infants-toddlers.
Enlarged print bulletins and hymnal pages are available in the Sanctuary each Sunday.
Communion is brought to the pews for persons who cannot ascend the steps to the altar. St. Andrew's also provides alternatives to wheat wafers for persons with allergies.
